Aunt Mildred’s Special Recipe
Passed down from generation to generation, Aunt Mildred’s #10 Southern Style BBQ Sauce started as a special bond between a father and his daughter. McArthur Williams gifted his daughter, Mildred, with his legendary BBQ Sauce recipe when she joined the Great Migration and moved from the south to the north to make a better life for herself. Perfecting the ingredients and making them her own, Mildred used her famous BBQ Sauce to feed her family and make a name for herself.
Our Story
Aunt Mildred’s story is built on hard work. Opening her own restaurant in Rockford, IL in 1996, allowed Aunt Mildred to fulfill her dream. Years of cooking BBQ on the road, in parking lots and gas stations, provided her with the opportunity to feed people in an establishment, exclusively hers, called the Rib Cage. Now, we are honored to be able to share her legacy with businesses just like yours.
Fundraising and Community Support
Community support is what gave Aunt Mildred the platform to realize her dream. Cooking for churches, helping others and giving back, she earned a solid reputation and many-many repeat customers.
